American Hagwon

Just a wonderful, sweeping novel. If Pachinko was a family epic across time, this book is an epic across space, spanning Korea, Australia, the US and more. The characters are wonderful, themes are timely, and even though I couldn't stop reading it, I was so sad to see the book come to an end.
